Metaverse Trails

Gavin + I took a break from the SL fashion thang to do a li'l metaverse explorin' recently. Here's a snapshot from the art installation at Cetus, a visual conceptualization of wandering thru your own inventory. -- Funny, I always thought that experience would be, um, extremely crowded and a teensy bit scary. Heh.
There's several discrete sections to this eye-popping build, from the MoMA-like art gallery landing area to a suspended sea of enormous "eyes." Here's a peek at just 1 of these: an enclosed galaxy dome, where you can gaze up at the nebulas. Simple and spectacular.
I had read about Selenium Pulse/Second Dream on Avatars In Motion + wanted to take a look-see. -- This was our view from a hidden cove, near an abandoned rowboat. Giant sunbeam-like auroras were rippling gently thru a bubble-filled sky; we saw eerie, ghost-like windows buried underwater, too.
Here's to all the as-yet-undiscovered wonders of SL (ya know, besides fashionated pixels). Explorer love + fashionista kisses to all!

xoxo
